Pieter has 18 years of experience as a CPA, advising entrepreneurs across a variety of sectors on financial and strategic matters. This includes 13 years spent in public practice with Richter LLP, one of the largest full-service financial advisory firms in Canada (experience in accounting (IFRS and ASPE), assurance and taxation (both corporate and personal) and 3 years in industry (distribution of consumer goods).
Pieter obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (1993) and Bachelor of Law (1995) at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa). He holds a Diploma in Public Accounting (2001) from HEC Montreal (Canada) and has been a member of the Quebec CPA Order since 2002.
Pieter, by nature curious, has a keen interest in agriculture and food, clean tech, philanthropy and impact investment.
