– Announces collaboration with Arlene Dickinson Enterprises –
Birmingham, Alabama and Toronto, Ontario – 22 October 2012 – Kirchner Private Capital Group (KPCG), a leading North American traditional merchant bank, announces that it has become a partner in Arlene Dickenson Enterprises (ADE). ADE will promote the advancement of entrepreneurs by providing support, advice and funding to early stage businesses. ADE will also develop a suite of online and offline content tailored to entrepreneurs.
KPCG founder and chairman W.B. (Bud) Kirchner said, “Our track record over our 27 year history speaks for itself. We have served a multitude of clients and partners ranging from entrepreneurs to early- and mid-market companies, as well as managing assets in conjunction with PE/VC firms and on behalf of insurance companies, commercial banks and institutional investors. The partnership with Arlene Dickenson Enterprises broadens our already strong platform serving entrepreneurs and early-stage companies. Arlene and I have created a strong working relationship, and through this partnership, KPCG will act as the in-house merchant bank providing operational and transactional support for ADE and its subsidiary companies, as we do for other organizations.”
The partnership has been established as a strategic initiative capitalizing on the systemic changes occurring in the world of entrepreneurs. Increasingly, entrepreneurs are looking for support and capital through non-traditional sources. KPCG will contribute its proprietary business models and practices for enhancing the value of early-stage companies, and will continue to offer its expertise throughout every stage of their lifecycle. KPCG and ADE have complimentary skill sets and together will provide a full suite of services to entrepreneurs ranging from operational support, to sales and marketing assistance, to crystallization of value and liquidity events.
“We are very excited to have a group like KPCG partner with us in this venture. The experience and knowledge they bring to the table will be an invaluable asset to allow us to truly support entrepreneurs in every way,” commented Dickinson. “I believe Bud and I to be kindred spirits. We both have devoted our lives to the pursuit of entrepreneurial success and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Bud and his team.”
ADE is inviting entrepreneurs to participate in the building of a social media network called, YouInc.com. Featuring regular posts from Dickinson and other successful entrepreneurs, the site invites any entrepreneur to sign up, create a profile, post their own content and connect with other entrepreneurs. Its intention is to create a place for all entrepreneurs to meet, discuss and share the pains and joy of building a business while offering information, resources and entertainment.
