SAWC is the largest such conference focused on wound care in the world.

Kirchner Group will leverage its 100 years of cumulative expertise around the Intellectual Property lifecycle as well as their four decades of experience in crystalizing the value of intellectual property on behalf of inventors, entrepreneurs, and investors. One of Kirchner Group’s primary sectors of activity is health and life sciences and within this focus area, there is a particularly long and focused emphasis on wound and skin care as well as aging. Kirchner Group also co-founded the “Business of Wound Care,” a LinkedIn forum for all stakeholders interested in the business of wound care.

Kirchner Group, as an invited presenter will offer a presentation titled; Intellectual Property: From the Back of the Napkin to Market at the Symposium on October 30th. The presentation is authored by Dr. Patrick McNees, Managing Partner, Health and Life Sciences and W.B. (Bud) Kirchner, Founder and CEO of Kirchner Group.

“We are honored to be a part of this important conference and look forward helping to improve the probability that researchers, clinicians and early-stage companies who develop important intellectual property do not have it die on the shelf,” commented Dr. McNees. “The reality is that without IP commercialization significant capital and research time are lost and perhaps most importantly the opportunity to make an enduring difference in people’s lives is also lost. That is why we are so passionate about providing this kind of support.”
