Birmingham, Alabama 01 April 2011 – Kirchner Private Capital Group (KPCG) is pleased to announce that it will begin publishing ‘The Kirchner Blog’ (, a fresh perspective “from the trenches” to provide insight and perspective on operations and transactions to capitalize on our firm’s deep foundation in all aspects of investing in, running and exiting companies.

In keeping with its commitment to support businesses from start-up to exit, KPCG is concurrently launching an entrepreneur resource center, an online knowledge base covering all aspects of building, operating and exiting a business. In addition to our proprietary content, the center will also contain links to valuable third-party articles we have screened.

“This initiative is in furtherance of our traditional approach to merchant banking.  The original merchant bank comprised a group of seasoned and successful business executives with first-hand expertise in all aspects of operations, transactions and capital markets.  The objective was to provide growing companies with expertise throughout their business lifecycle with a view to establishing a deep, long-term relationship,” said Bud Kirchner, the founder and CEO of Kirchner Private Capital Group.  “Our group is designed in that same vein.”

“The blog is a way for us to directly engage our clients, partners and other members of the Kirchner network,” commented Lew Turnquist, Managing Partner. “We look forward to sharing the lessons learned by our team and the readers who contribute to the associated online discussions and debates.”

Kirchner Blog will begin posting regular entries on April 1. The Resource Center is now accessible at
