Lew Turnquist has more than 25 years of operational and transactional experience in technology companies: public and private, mature and early-stage, high-growth and turnaround challenges.

Lew’s career has spanned a variety of disciplines, including marketing, product management and business development. Most recently, he led the turnaround of a sensor-based wearable medical device company through to its Series A financing round. His previous turnarounds include a 3D imaging product company and a retail point-of-sale software company. In the role of EVP and COO, he grew a wireless location technology and services company to a billion-dollar public market cap and prior to that, he was a founding team member at the world’s first wireless Internet company.

In addition, while the Senior Managing Partner at the Kirchner Group, he oversaw and/or personally led over 50 M&A and operational engagements across a variety of industrial sectors including: software, telecommunications, health, biotech and agricultural technology.

He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a B.Sc. from the University of King’s College.
